A Festival of Christmas” is a joyous musical celebration that captures the very heart of the holiday season. This festive arrangement weaves together some of the most beloved carols and melodies of Christmas into a radiant tapestry of sound. From moments of quiet reflection to triumphant fanfares, the work evokes the wonder, warmth, and excitement that define this special time of year.

“Do You Hear What I Hear?” was written during the height of the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962 as a heartfelt plea for peace in a world on edge. Though it has become one of the most beloved Christmas songs of the modern era, its origins were rooted in fear, hope, and a deep desire for harmony among nations.

“We Wish You a Merry Christmas” is one of the most beloved and enduring carols of the holiday season. Originating in 16th-century England, the song is rooted in the tradition of carolers who would visit homes during the Christmas season, singing in exchange for treats such as figgy pudding and warm drinks. Its cheerful melody and lively rhythm capture the festive spirit of community, generosity, and goodwill.

“The Canadian Brass Christmas” is lively arrangement tgat features a sparkling selection of traditional Christmas carols and holiday favorites, reimagined through the bold, golden sound of brass instruments. Listeners will recognize familiar melodies such as “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” “The First Noël,” “Carol of the Bells,” and “Jingle Bells,” each transformed with the ensemble’s trademark blend of rich harmonies, rhythmic vitality, and playful energy.

Originally written in 1739 by Charles Wesley, “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” has become one of the most beloved and enduring Christmas carols of all time. Wesley’s stirring text proclaims the joy and wonder of Christ’s birth, capturing the triumphant message of peace on earth and goodwill toward all. The familiar melody we know today was later adapted from a majestic tune by Felix Mendelssohn, giving the hymn its noble and jubilant character.

From the opening measures of “The Bells of Christmas” listeners are greeted with bright, bell-like tones that symbolize the announcement of Christmas morning. Traditional carol motifs—such as Carol of the Bells or echoes of Silver Bells—may subtly emerge throughout, woven together in a seamless tapestry of sound. As the work unfolds, moments of gentle reflection alternate with triumphant fanfares, suggesting both quiet reverence and joyful celebration.

The dazzling and jubilant “Christmas Finale” weaves together some of the most familiar Christmas carols into a triumphant medley. With brilliant fanfares, soaring brass lines, and sweeping harmonies, this finale captures the spirit of celebration and joy that defines the season.
